Same as above, except that he said, "and the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, was asked about the wooden spear (1)".
(1) A wooden spear with a sharp end and a blunt shaft. It is permissible to eat animals killed by the sharp end, but not if the animal is killed after sustaining a heavy blow by its blunt end.
